It's been a month now since visiting the UK and I'm starting to miss it already! I miss how polite everyone was. From the flight attendants to the cashiers, 99% of them gave me a smile and a thank you (and a cheers!). Some even gave me compliments! I'll never forget how sweet they were.
We stayed in Kensington and it was very lovely. The tube station was very close to the apartment, 2 great museums were at walking distance, Pret & Gail's bakery was also near by. I'm a huge fan of fresh baked goods and sandwiches.
You know I had to try a cheeky Nandos after seeing how popular it is over there. It was good! Not mind blowing or anything since it's a chain. The orange Fanta in the UK is so light! I'm not a huge soda drinker but when its light, I don't mind.
I was on a mission to find a new fragrance since my Byredo Bal d'Afrique had run out. Les Senteurs had 5 stars and had to pass by. The manager was very attentive and would give suggestions based on what we were looking for. I ended up getting some strange french fragrance brand from the 1920's called Isabey. Fleur Nocturne smells like gardenias!
The neighborhood Chelsea had many storefronts full of fake or real flower arrangements.
GBK! Very delicious veggie burger and interesting ginger soda.
Onion rings and shoestring fries combined with their chipotle mayo sauce. To die for.
I wasn't planning on visiting Harrods. I didn't really care for it. But I'm glad we ended up visiting. They have this huge food hall that offers food to cook at home or hot food to eat there.
They provided flower arrangements too.
We also visited Shoreditch. I'd say it's like DUMBO/Greenpoint in Brooklyn. They had these store concepts that mixes retail with a cafe. For example, Barber & Parlour sounds like what it is. It's a place where you go in, get a hair cut, and eat a delicious meal while watching a film. Sounds like a fun day!
This was a cute home store recommended by my boss who has fine taste.
Labor & Wait is like a mixture of classic Japanese and European design. My favorites colliding in one place pretty much.
Quick pit stop at Pizza East. I don't know why I loved this pizza so much.
I also went to this trip with an empty luggage so that I can shop as much as my heart wanted. Their clothing fits me better. Already planning to go back, we missed too many things <3
