Cartagena: Getsemani

The last stop for us was Getsemani. Getsemani was a very sketchy, abandoned area before it became the “Wynwood” of Cartagena. It’s mostly for young backpackers that like to stay at hostels with hip cafes and shops all around.

I finally got to try mojarra! After discovering this amazing band called Systema Solar, I’ve been singing one of their songs that celebrates the dish above. Now I know why they made a song about it. It’s fried fish but the fish skin is the best part. I know, weird. We ate this at Stefanos Bistro.
